Uncelebrated Jewellery

Matt is a primarily self taught jeweller focused on sandcasting and cast in place stones, an ancient technique that embraces chance and imperfection. Each piece becomes a record of process - a collision between tradition and experimentation. His work pushes against the jewellery world’s obsession with precision, creating work that feels alive, imperfect, and deeply human.Uncelebrated Jewellery reminds you that you don't need a reason to celebrated yourself.

Ari Kiko

Eora based DJ Ari Kiko is an emerging artist with a distinct sense of self — a progression that feels quick, yet still natural.

As a DJ, Ari Kiko has found connection and inspiration within a community that she’s spent years nourishing as a dancer, DJ and organiser. A love that her audience is now paying back.

Mixing with a careful lightness, Ari Kiko blends house, breaks and warm vocals; sounds that speak to her crowd - encouraging expression, fun and a place to disconnect from the challenges that exist outside the walls of the club.

Ari’s sound is characterised by a love for spacey highs and dirty lows, as her love for music emanates from the decks the audience is welcomed into a genre defying sound scape of irresistible bounce.

SEIDE

Seide (pronounced ‘side’) is a story of family, nostalgia, and a lifelong love for pearls. We’re three sisters who grew up watching our mother handpick the finest pearls and design her own jewellery. To her, pearls weren’t just kept for special occasions—they were part of everyday life.

We set out to reimagine pearls for the modern wearer—classic yet contemporary, elegant yet daring. Every piece is handmade with the finest attention to detail, ensuring the highest quality craftsmanship. Whether for a casual coffee run or a night out, our jewellery is designed to be worn, loved, and lived in.

Seide is our love letter to the past and our vision for the future—where our designs are for all ages, all styles, and all moments. We hope our jewellery becomes a part of your story, just as pearls have always been part of ours.

Mia Lazarus

Mia Lazarus is a Sydney-based artist whose practice is deeply rooted in abstraction, guided by a curiosity for mark-making, materiality, and the world around her.

Her process is heavily studio-led and intuitive, evolving through layering, acrylic pours, and reworking to create compositions that feel both immediate and reflective.

Balancing bold colours with translucent veils, expressive marks, and organic forms, Mia works with acrylic, oil, oil sticks, and textural elements such as wood shavings. Her abstractions explore the tension between restraint and spontaneity; reduction and chance - resulting in works that are grounded in the sensory and emotional.

Through this, she seeks to create immersive experiences that invite viewers to engage deeply with the material and sensorial qualities of abstraction.

KUHO Collective

Founded by Sydney-based designer Kumi, KUHO Collective focuses on handcrafted jewellery made from blending together a mix of recycled Miyuki beads, java glass beads, and freshwater pearls to make elegant but everyday jewellery.

Each piece is hand selected and handcrafted by Kumi, minimising excess and allowing space for customisation.

At Gems and Jams, you can expect a burst of colour and playful beads; making you want to to leave with more than just one.

Broccoli Effect

Escaping the norms of Teaching, Broccoli Effect (FKA Coshua) is an outlet. Hailing from the depths of Southmead Bristol, his selection of music is flavoursome and intriguing.

Founding Fig Jaam, his wonky, left-field side of genres move booties and introduce listeners to new blends and sounds.

At Gems and Jams, you can expect bass, bootty shakin cha cha and some wonky dubs.

Sabine Haworth

Sabine Haworth is a Sydney-based artist and a 2024 ‘Bachelor of Fine Arts’ graduate from the National Art School. Specialising in painting, Sabine draws on her personal experiences to create compositions filled with vibrant, unexpected imagery; often balancing bizarre or chaotic subject matter with calm, harmonious compositions and colours. Her works explore self-reflective themes, including vulnerability and change, capturing them from an optimistic and humorous perspective.

While painting remains central to her practice, she experiments with other mediums to explore and play, with some of these investigations later feeding back into her paintings. She aims to create work that feels genuine, drawing out moments of joy and laughter from ideas rooted in discomfort.

Ces Jewels

Ces (pronounced Ch-es) stands as a celebration of the personal and expressive nature of wearable art. Entirely a self taught jeweller, Fran crafts each piece with the desire for the wearer to feel as though their jewellery is a visible extension of their personality and individuality. Each piece is one-of-one and is designed for distinction.

Although Ces was only formally founded this year, the brand is a culmination of years of experimentation with jewellery making - going back to Fran's early childhood, where she would rummage through her mum's old jewellery boxes, pulling pieces apart and putting them back together. The joy in re-imagination has remained, with each piece being crafted from handmade, up-cycled, and carefully selected materials from travels; so that every link, gem and stone carries a story of reinvention.

Blanksheet Audio

Blanksheet Audio takes the piss but when it comes to sound quality, they mean business.

Running over 3500W of RMS power in fully horn loaded, custom built timber cabinets, these speakers sound even better than they look.

Carefully designed and tuned by your favourite audio nerds Cam and Harry to deliver chest kicking bass and crispy vocals all night without making your ear drums bleed.

Some old bloke once told them that they were “the best speakers he’s ever heard”.

At Gems and Jams, expect to be moving your hips to BLANKSHEET’S sonic energy all night.

APOMA

Apoma is a Sydney based jewellery brand by designer maker Campbell. Every piece of Apoma jewellery is individually cast, set, and finished by hand in his garage studio, combining meticulous craftsmanship with sustainable practices.

His work embraces the raw, organic textures born from sand casting, juxtaposed with the precise facets and vivid coloured gemstones that highlight the beauty of imperfection.

Campbell will be exhibiting an extensive range of one-off pieces, alongside a collection of his made-to-order designs.

Piece of Work

Piece of work is a Sydney-based jewellery brand, run by Gabi from her home studio. After spending the last 5 years gaining experience in the industry, Gabi has refined her craft and the vision for her jewellery.

Her work interrogates beauty ideals by rejecting traditional form and shape, using the wax carved method to create unique handmade jewellery.

Piece of Work showcases pieces that are flexible allowing the wearer to reflect a piece of themselves through a range of unconventional and unexpected designs.

At Gems and Jams, Gabi will unveil some of her latest creations, as well as  some classic pieces from her collection.

MCMUFNUTZ

McMufnutz brings a laid-back mix of UK Garage, Breakbeat and Booty House, built around smooth grooves, swung drums and playful spins on the classics.

His sets move between deep rollers, cheeky edits and unexpected crowd-pleasers, always keeping things loose and fun. If you’ve spent time at house parties around the Inner West, Sydney’s east, or down in the Shire, you might’ve already caught him behind the decks without even realising.

At Gems and Jams, expect a journey through forgotten favourites, overlooked gems and a few curveballs that’ll keep the dancefloor smiling. He’ll be closing out 001 with a set that ties the night together and sends everyone home feeling like they’ve just been part of something a bit special.

FRANK STACK

Frank makes images that look like they’ve already lived online. His practice moves between fine art tradition and contemporary visual culture; balancing sincerity with satire and devotion with piss-take.

Primarily known for his large scale charcoal drawings, Stack renders liquid-chrome forms that shimmer with hyperreal piety, framed in baroque excess that collapses reverence and indulgence. Across his multidisciplinary practice, he explores what he calls meta-materialism - treating reflection itself as both subject and method, where luxury becomes language and irony becomes form.

For Gems & Jams 003, Stack presents new works that turn labour into illusion and irony into ritual; dust polished until it gleams like chrome.

Metal on Skin

Metal on skin is the work of Sydney-based jeweller, Lauren. Each piece created from her home studio in Sydney - MOS combines clean, refined finishes with raw, organic textures.

Blending the two allows Lauren to shift between techniques and explore new styles, all while maintaining the distinctive natural style that is the MOS aesthetic.

At Gems and Jams you can expect a range of jewellery that melts effortlessly onto your skin, and original pieces that elevate your collection.

House of Hanzo

House of hanzo is the creative outlet of the self-taught jeweller, Ben. It was born from a frustration with what was available for mens jewellery and inspiration from more traditionally feminine jewellery. With this, HoH threads a line between masculine and feminine aiming to offer more curvy and feminine shapes for men and more blocky, thicker designs for women than are traditionally offered for each.

Taking an array of philosophical, spiritual and aesthetic inspirations, Ben loves to embed meaning, representing stories through his pieces.

Each piece is handmade from start to finish, celebrating the soul reflected in handmade jewellery.

blonde.

Oscar of blonde. began making jewellery a little over six years ago, around the same time he first started wearing it himself. Frustrated by the lack of pieces that reflected his evolving style, he started creating his own from a small bedroom desk setup, armed with basic tools and YouTube tutorials. What began as simple experimentation quickly turned into a deep passion for the craft. Jewellery became his creative language: expressive, lasting, and honest.

The small personal project soon grew into blonde. - a jewellery brand built with craftsmanship at its core. Today, blonde. also runs ring-making workshops across Australia, inviting people to step away from the noise and create something real, lasting, and meaningful themselves. Even as it’s grown, blonde. remains true to Oscar’s original values - a creative celebration of lasting, tasteful, Australian-made jewellery.

MEEKS.925

Behind MEEKS.925 is Tamika, a Sydney based creator with a love for the process behind all things creative. She first started sharing her art-school projects and experiments on @tamikacreative, giving her viewers a behind-the-scenes look into whatever she was creating that day.

Her practice spans across multiple mediums but her favourite form of self-expression is jewellery; with an emphasis on chunky streetwear jewellery that reflects her own personal style.

At Gems and Jams, you can expect a small, but intentional collection - each piece hand crafted and made with love.

Anika

Recently returning from her stay in London UK, ANIKA continues to share her love for euphoric dance tracks. Born in Mulubinba, Newcastle, ANIKA discovered her desire to mix songs that make you feel powerful emotions on the dancefloor.

ANIKA performed at ADE festival in Amsterdam and at the iconic UK venues, Fabric, Fold and O2 Academy. She also has a monthly residency on Subtle Radio station, UK called, ‘Mood Shift’, where she creates a space for likeminded Australian dj's to have the opportunity to share their music overseas.

Bouki

With a sound rooted in the UK, Chinese Laundry resident and Dayshift co-founder Bouki balances weighty low-end with percussive energy. An avid organiser and participant in Sydney / Eora’s underground music community since arriving from England in 2018, he pairs his event and touring work with a growing catalogue of his own productions and collaborations.
